Why we exist
In Chorley and South Ribble more than 1000 secondary aged students are either severely absent from school or home-educating. In many cases parents and carers are reluctantly home-educating their child because they feel that they have no other choice. Many of these young people go on to become NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) as they turn 16.
We exist to re-engage these young people with education. We want to get them back into schools, colleges or other educational routes. We exist to build trust, relationships, resilience and wellbeing. We exist to support young people and their families.
We exist to change the life chances of these young people.
We are delighted to be based at the fabulous Anderton Centre in Chorley
